Cost:
$100 per scout, $50 per adult. $35 per participant with
registration form due Sunday, April 22. Cost includes Rowdy Raven
Wild West Resident Camp program, t-shirt and patch for each scout
and all meals for all participants. Adult fees can be divided
between adults (one parent come for one or two nights and the other
for the remainder).
Balance ($65 per scout, $15 per adult due May 27.

Upon
submission of registration form and deposit, you will
receive medical forms to have filled out and other forms (t-shirt
sizes, optional pack photo, what to bring and what not to bring to
camp).

We
plan to arrange for the Pack Resident Campers to fulfill the swim
test requirements together in one session before Resident Camp,
possibly at the YMCA.

Pack needs
to arrive at Raven Knob June 10 around 1 p.m. We plan to meet at the
Sherwood
Forest Elementary
School bus lot with bag lunches to eat
on the road (from home) at 11:30 a.m. Raven Knob is about an hour
away.

The first and last nights of camp are
camp wide campfires in the OA Arena beginning at 8:15 in Scout
uniform.
The last day is just eating breakfast,
breaking camp and checking out. Sometimes parents and campers will
leave on Tuesday night after the closing campfire.
Each scout and adult will take at
least one meal during their stay as a “waiter”
Scouts of the same rank move from activity to
activity together with their adult leaders. Wolf and Bear rand Scouts
will enjoy four activities listed on their first full day in camp
and the other four the following day.
Wolf
Program areas are Nature Area, Handicrafts, Archery
Range/ Rifle
Range, Waterfront, and Fishing.
Bear
Program areas are Scoutcraft, Handicrafts, Archery Range/ Rifle Range, Rappelling
Tower,
Waterfront and Nature Area.
Webelos will participate in
four of the following:
BB/Archery Range, Knob Hike/Aquanaut, Bouldering, Forester,
Scientist, Outdoorsman or Geologist.
